Art began his IT career at the County Clerk’s office in Cheyenne, Wyo. After a decade of IT consulting in Wyoming and California, he returned to Missoula to build the IT department at VRI. After VRI was acquired, Art spent six years as the CIO for APS Health Care in Silver Spring, Md. Realizing that Montana was a better place to raise a son, Art moved back to Montana to become “Hiker in Chief” at Image Ventures of Montana before joining the UM Foundation. Art graduated from Carleton College in Northfield, Minn. with a degree in government and international relations. At the Foundation, Art delights in leading a great team in the planning, development, delivery and support of innovative information systems and technology. “I love the outstanding combination of great vision and people at the Foundation.”
