Christian is from southern Idaho. At The Phyllis J. Washington College of Education and Human Sciences she works closely with faculty, alumni and friends of the College to elevate the people and programs that directly benefit Montanans and the world. Christian earned her B.A. in Theatre and Dance from the University of Alaska Anchorage. Prior to joining the Foundation, Christian served as the Development Director of Rude Mechanicals theatre collective, and as a regional Development Officer for The University of Texas at Austin. Her husband Tom is pursuing his MFA in the College of Visual and Performing Arts, and together with their daughter Opal, they are delighted to be part of the UM community.
