Karen hails from Rochester Minn., but long ago adopted Montana as home. After attending St. Olaf College, and a long hiatus, she earned a Business degree with an accounting emphasis from The University of Montana. At the Foundation Karen works with planned giving to administer life income gifts, and oversees annuity and trust investments, payments and reports. She also provides information about, and prepares receipts for, gifts of personal property. Prior to joining the Foundation in 1994, Karen worked for over 10 years at Christian Campus Ministries. She also worked for several years in the UM Admissions Office. “Along with the opportunity to help support and advance education, I appreciate the wonderful co-workers, generous donors, and supportive trustees at the Foundation—and the challenges and changes that keep work from ever being boring!”
