Kate has spent eight years in political and nonprofit fundraising which took her all over the country. Both of Kate’s grandparents were born and raised in Montana, so in 2008 she moved from Washington, DC to Missoula and joined The University of Montana Foundation. Her love of the outdoors and the field of natural resources made her a perfect fit for the College of Forestry and Conservation where her responsibilities include traveling nationally to meet with alumni, friends and family of the College to connect them to The University of Montana and the College in a meaningful way. Kate graduated from Hobart and William Smith Colleges with degrees in communications and political science. She now lives on the north side of Missoula with her husband Matt and their cattle dogs, Wade and Blue. “I love meeting interesting people all over the country who are leaders in the field of natural resources.”
