Korla was raised in Minnesota.  She has worked at UM for 21 years; one year at Business Services, thirteen years in University Relations and the last seven with The UM Foundation.  She attended college at South Dakota State University in Brookings. Korla functions as the liaison between the Foundation and campus in administering donors’ gifts.  She collaborates with Foundation colleagues in the tasks involved, including drafting and reviewing documents, setting up funds, scholarship budgeting and reporting to donors.  “I love working for a place that gives people an opportunity to show their gratitude by giving back. Each donor’s story is special. I love being a part of creating a culture of philanthropy at UM.”
