Susan was born and raised in Helena, Mont. and moved to Missoula in 1970. After her two boys were in school she worked for the Department of Revenue for eight years before joining the UM Foundation in 1989. She has been a member of the Foundation family for 21½ years and counting. Susan supports the gift planning department with correspondence, annuities, will and estate information, file setup, filing, stock and gift-in-kind correspondence and log maintenance. She also manages the information desk two and a half days a week. In that capacity she is responsible for all mail, supply orders, telephone and in-person inquiries. She processes the phonathon and major donor receipt letters as well as database information updates.
