Theresa has a M.B.A and a Bachelor's of Business Administration in Finance and Law & Public Policy.  Prior to joining the UM Foundation, she held roles throughout the northwest in global management consulting, business development, commercial banking and higher education development.  Theresa is currently the president of the Western Montana Estate Planning Council.  She is also a member of the Council for Advancement and Support of Education (CASE), the Partnership for Philanthropic Planning (PPP) and is a Certified Specialist in Planned Giving (CSPG).  In her role at the UMF, Theresa oversees the gift planning component, hosts and presents informational sessions for the public and professional advisors, and works closely with individuals to document bequests and develop tax-wise gift strategies.
