The Senior Class Gift Campaign is a student-run fundraising campaign to educate seniors about the importance of philanthropy. Participating seniors choose the programs or campus areas that their fundraising efforts support. The goal of the Senior Class Gift Campaign is participation – whether a gift of $5 or $50 - no gift is too small. Seniors who give before the end of April are recognized in the last Kaimin issue and on the UM Foundation’s website. Most importantly, these seniors have the opportunity to leave a mark by contributing to The University of Montana legacy.
Senior Class Gift Campaign
As seniors at UM you have the opportunity to give back. Now is your chance to help your alma mater maintain the high academic standards for which it is famous. Join fellow members of the senior class of 2013 and celebrate the University of Montana by pledging your support.
Now it's your turn.
This campaign is about participation. Any amount you are able to contribute will make an impact. Commemorate your class year by giving $20.13 and receive an engraved thank you pint glass.
What can I support with my gift?
Each year, the Senior Class Gift Committee votes on a senior class gift. Past gifts include a bench, bike rack, trees on the Oval and an illustrated map of campus on Mount Sentinel. Last year, the Class of 2012 raised $3,500 for a greenhouse on campus, next to the Lommasson Center. You may choose to give to the senior class gift or to whatever program or area on campus you wish to support, from academics to athletics to the arts to student organizations or student services. Many alumni donors choose to make an unrestricted gift to the Excellence Fund, while other donors choose to restrict their gifts to a specific department, or the chosen senior class gift.
How can I get involved?
You can participate by making a donation to the Senior Class Gift Campaign, or joining the Senior Class Gift Committee.
