POWERED BY US: FACULTY AND STAFF GIVING CAMPAIGN KICKS OFF APRIL 1
Throughout April, University of Montana employees from across campus will be promoting the power of giving and sharing the importance of private support for UM.
The UM Faculty and Staff Giving Campaign garners contributions from about 15 percent of employees, or more than 300 faculty and staff, each year. This year, the campaign committee hopes participation tops 20 percent.
The campaign is co-chaired by Dr. Ronald Premuroso, accounting and finance professor, and Maria Mangold, English Department advisor. They represent Faculty and Staff Senate respectively.
During the 2013 campaign, Premuroso bolstered 100 percent participation from the accounting and finance department. As a committed member of the campus community, he wants to share with others the impact that giving has on the University and its students. Mangold has also been a long-time advocate for the campaign and says, “I support the campaign because I can be part of something larger than my immediate work.”
Employees can earmark their donations towards any department, program or scholarship fund they choose, and participation at any and every level makes a difference. Whether you make a small gift or a large one, your gift counts.
